I started thinking of my sketches as opportunities to tell stories.
Picture
"Get down here this minute!" - While looking at the triceratops skeleton I thought it'd be fun to climb.

Picture
This dinosaur skull was the size of a watermelon. So I added some little people. . although dinosaur skulls can be huge and these could be seen as normal sized people.

Picture
I saw this rat on display and I thought it could be Templeton from Charlotte's Web bringing back the piece of paper with "crunchy" on it.

I just read your book, So You Want to See the World?
It was such a cute book! I decided I wanted to look you up. (Plus, your name sounds kind of familiar! Any chance you went to AF High?) Anyway, I LOVE the sketch of the mother telling her daughter to get off the dinosaur! The only thing you are missing is a camera, so the mom can be taking photos of the child WHILE she is saying it! LOL That would be me with my boys! They were always climbing things where they shouldn't be, but I HAD to get a photo! lol

Thank you for sharing your talents!
